Frequently asked questions about solar battery storage
Where will the battery be installed?
We will conduct a full survey of your home that will help you to decide on the best location for your battery. It has to be fairly close to your main consumer unit so we have to take that in to account but we normally try to put it in a cupboard, garage, utility room or somewhere similar.
Can I have the battery in a loft?
No, our batteries can’t go in a loft space as they are too heavy.Â
How big is the battery?
Our batteries are around 0.4m wide, o.6m high and 0.2m deep
Can solar panels work without battery storage?
Yes you don't need to have a battery with your solar panels, however a battery storage system allows you to use more of the energy you generate in your home rather than exporting it back to the grid.
